JIM ALJIAN | Managing Partner
Jim has been a financial advisor for more than 26 years. He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Southern California in 1973.
Having spent his entire career working for large investment firms such as PaineWebber and Smith Barney (subsequently acquired by Morgan Stanley), Jim believes that his clients would be better served by a boutique investment firm focused exclusively on managing individual stocks and bonds on behalf of a select number of clients. This led Jim to establish Aljian Capital Management, a truly independent investment advisory firm dedicated to helping clients meet their financial goals.
Jim has been married for 40 years, has two children and five grandchildren. In those rare moments when Jim isn’t monitoring investments, he enjoys salt-water fishing, poker and horse racing.
